As a Product Engineer at 8returns, you'll own the features that make merchants love our product. Build AI-powered insights, beautiful interfaces, and tools that turn returns data into profit. If you ship fast, care about craft, and want real ownership, this is your role.

Tasks

• Rapidly prototype and ship new features end-to-end

• Build AI-powered features that help merchants understand and reduce returns

• Own the entire product development cycle – from ideation to metrics

• Talk to merchants, understand their pain, then fix it

• Design and implement experiments to validate product hypotheses

• Work closely with our founders to shape product strategy

Requirements

• 2+ years shipping production React/TypeScript apps

• Strong full-stack engineering skills (frontend, backend, infrastructure)

• You've integrated AI/LLMs into real products (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain)

• Strong product sense and opinions on good UX

• You ship first, perfect later

• Autonomous. We give you problems, not solutions

Bonus

• Previous founder or early startup experience

• Comfortable with our backend: Rails, PostgreSQL

• You've built data-heavy interfaces that don't suck

• Understanding of the AI/ML landscape beyond just API calls
