Gen AI Sr Lead Software Developer

Lumen connects the world, and we're looking for a top-tier talent to lead the development of Generative AI (Gen AI) applications. As a Sr Lead Software Developer, you'll lead development, mentor senior engineers, and conduct reviews. You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, particularly in creating and implementing Gen AI applications, and experience with Java, Python, and Gen AI frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or the equivalent in training and experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in Java/Python development
• Well-versed with development using frameworks like Spring / Spring Boot / FastAPI / Django
• Well-versed with REST API development and security standards (OAuth2.0, OIDC, etc)
• Experience using any SQL database (Oracle/PostgreSQL, etc) and any NoSQL databases - MongoDB/Couchbase
• Experience in Gen AI Development using Python, Langchain, Vector Datastores (Azure, Pinecone, etc), Large language models like Llama, Open AI, etc
• Well-versed with prompt engineering techniques and using frameworks like Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, etc
• Experience using a container ecosystem - Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience working developing and deploying applications on any cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines for application development
• Well-versed with system design principles, microservices design patterns, and performance engineering
• Well-versed with new AI protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agentic frameworks, and protocols
