About the team

The Tech Compliance team at Binance, primarily composed of skilled software engineers, plays a crucial role in ensuring that our technological operations meet all regulatory standards. By aligning our processes with the latest legal requirements, we foster a secure and trustworthy environment for our users. Our efforts are pivotal in paving the way for a bright and sustainable future in the crypto industry.

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to design and develop scalable, reliable solutions addressing compliance challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in microservices architecture, hands-on experience with technologies like Spring Cloud and Kafka, and a commitment to high-quality, maintainable code. Experience with compliance systems and familiarity with the cryptocurrency industry are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Full life cycle of software development, including requirement gathering, designing, coding, testing and deployment
  • Collaborate in Product Requirement Document (PRD) reviews and actively contribute to solution design discussions
  • Architect and develop scalable, robust backend solutions to effectively address compliance challenges
  • Write clean, testable, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems that support compliance operations with high availability and reliability
  • Produce and maintain clear, comprehensive internal documentation and knowledge base articles to facilitate team collaboration
  • Respond promptly to technical inquiries and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system stability
  • Adhere rigorously to internal processes, coding standards, and security protocols to uphold compliance and quality standards

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience in a related field
  • Proven track of record for great learning skills, love to solve challenging problems
  • Hands-on experience with core technologies including Spring Cloud, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Prometheus, and Kibana
  • Commitment to writing clean, testable, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Deep expertise in microservices architecture and distributed system design patterns
  • Proficient in diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving production issues efficiently and effectively
  • Experience in decomposing monolithic applications into microservices and refactoring complex legacy codebases
  • Prior involvement in compliance-related systems or projects is a plus
