We are seeking a Lab Systems Specialist for our IT department. This role requires 25% travel across the US.

LabCorp Lab Systems is a dynamic team that supports a variety of the laboratories.  We are in search of a Lab System Specialist to assist with the enhancement, migration, and support of clinical laboratory platforms. This position requires up to 25% travel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creating plans and determining deliverables for non-IT PMO led projects/implementations, working with extended teams to obtain updates and escalate as needed if defined timelines are at risk
  • Consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives
  • Preparing Laboratory Bulletins for instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, automation, supporting services, programs and/or applications

Required Skills and Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience creating and managing plans for projects
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to perform file definition and configuration within Laboratory Information Systems, instrument interfaces, and middleware platforms
  • Ability to create user training documentation using MS Word, MS Excel, Visio and other tools
  • Ability to take initiative to learn existing applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in Healthcare applications and systems
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
  • Tools: Visio, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Experience with LCLS, Data innovations, LCWS, and SIS/SRS would be a plus

Application Window: 8/31/2025

Pay Range: $71,000 – 90,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
