Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on developing innovative data-driven products that enhance the hiring experience. As a Data Scientist with HireVue, you'll work on exciting projects, including candidate matching and GenAI-based tools that will redefine how companies find and engage talent. Key Responsibilities

• Innovate with Algorithms: Develop groundbreaking algorithms and models that will enhance our products and elevate the hiring experience.
• Uncover Insights: Use your analytical skills to extract and analyze rich datasets from HireVue, focusing on human interactions and decision-making. Your discoveries will drive meaningful improvements.
• Create Success Metrics: Take the lead in formulating success metrics and crafting algorithms for entirely new products, paving the way for innovative solutions in the hiring landscape.
• Experiment and Explore: Design and execute exciting experiments to test new product ideas, pushing the boundaries of what's possible and shaping the future of hiring.

Essential Qualifications

• Data Science Experience: 2+ years of Data Science work experience.
• Quantitative Discipline: Degree in a quantitative discipline (MS or PhD preferred) - Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, etc.
• Machine Learning: Experience with standard Machine Learning algorithms, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
• Programming: Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python. Familiarity with machine learning Python libraries like numpy, scikit, and pandas is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Algorithmic Fairness: Experience with algorithmic fairness.
• Recommender Systems: Familiarity with recommender systems.
• NLP Techniques: Proficiency with novel NLP techniques (embedding models).
• Research: Ability to collaborate with the HireVue Industrial-Organizational Psychology team to perform novel research.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Communication: Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
