Our Customer Service (CS) team is dedicated to helping our members when they need it most, and we're looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead and manage the development of our contact center platform.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our CS Development team, responsible for ensuring the right CS tools and technologies are in place to support the growth, development, and flexibility of our customer support business. As a Product Manager, you'll be the key driver in shaping the future of our contact center platform through the development of external plans and the creation and execution of a long-term vision and roadmap.

This is a senior role, but unlike many other PMs at Netflix, you'll be focused on driving a cross-functional team without direct reports, allowing you to concentrate on making a significant impact on our customer and expert experience without the burden of managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide product leadership to our contact center platform, including new feature development, feature enhancements, data pipelines, APIs, and integrations with our internal tools through close collaboration with our external solution providers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to describe requirements, prioritize, identify risks and impediments, communicate, and create a product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with each CS operational team to ensure they understand and are aligned with the vision and goals of the product team.
  • Manage compromises and product trade-offs through close collaboration with our planning and data specialist teams as well as external solution providers or consulting firms.
  • Handle differences in support expectations across different regions globally and create experience in similar.
  • Develop product management responsibilities to various tools as business needs dictate.
  • Embody the unique Netflix culture.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a seasoned Product Manager with:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management for customer-facing or internal products.
  • The ability to make tough decisions informed by both data and judgment.
  • A strong focus on delivering a remarkable customer and expert experience.
  • A proven track record of executing projects that have quantifiably improved customer and expert experiences.
  • Progressive organization and influence without authority.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: outstanding presentation and storytelling abilities, the ability to build trust and create helpful relationships cross-functionally is essential.
  • The ability to motivate, drive, and lead designers and engineers.
  • Related experience working with CCaaS, CPaaS, UCaaS, and CRM products, whether external or in-house.
  • Related experience focusing on Customer Support.
  • Experience working on global products is also a plus.
