About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our administrative support staff, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, maintaining records, and providing support across various departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Abide by all safety regulations and policies, wearing required PPE for tasks and jobs
- Fully support and comply with all ISO Systems and corporate objectives and projects
- Utilize Microsoft Office computer programs, SAP, and Shop Vue to create spreadsheets, track KPIs, and coordinate with personnel
- Demonstrate professionalism and courteous telephone etiquette with internal partners
- Verify accurate data, investigate information, and make necessary changes to records for swift and accurate reporting
- Transfer data from hard copy to digital database, inputting text-based and numerical information from source departments
- Provide administrative support and data entry support across departments as requested
- Process reports as scheduled or requested, researching and obtaining additional information for incomplete documents
- Apply effective data program entry techniques, generating and interpreting reports, and assisting with data verification and scanning projects
- Assist in investigating system-generated errors (COGIS) in SAP
- Attend and assist with the preparation of meetings, events, and special projects
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of data entry experience in a manufacturing setting
- 2 years of SAP/ERP experience desired
- Basic mathematical abilities and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient reading skills
- Sense of urgency and great attention to detail
- Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success in problem-solving
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of how to utilize various office equipment
