Job Overview

We're seeking experienced and enthusiastic tutors to join our team in Mount Juliet, TN, to provide high-quality tutoring services in Math and Science subjects, including but not limited to:

• Common Core Math
• Algebra 1 and 2
• Geometry
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Biology
• General Science

As a part-time tutor with our organization, you'll be responsible for delivering personalized tutoring sessions to students, adapting your teaching style to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
• Effectively balance tutoring hours assigned to each student
• Teach students with varying learning styles and abilities
• Address client concerns, questions, and requests in a professional manner
• Follow up with our office regarding student enrollment packages and hour balances
• Ensure you're servicing students whose needs align with your expertise

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the education field
• 2+ years of experience in tutoring or teaching in specialized education fields (preferred)
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus (but not required)
• Basic database and data entry experience
• Ability to prepare lesson plans for each tutoring session

• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Proficient typing, PC, and recording skills
