TheClinicalSpecialist willworkwiththeRegionalSalesDirectorandTerritoryManagerwithinadefinedgeographicareatomeet existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraintsrelatedtopatientcareandtodiscussanddemonstratehow the company’s interventional portfolio canhelpthemachievetheirgoalsand meet patient/customer needs.The Interventional Technologies Clinical Specialist works closely with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to drive procedural and practice success in Structural Heart and Interventional procedures. By providing case coverage, the IT Clinical Specialist will contribute to achieving projected sales goals, Company objectives, and increasing sales revenue.

Essential Duties

• CollaborateswiththeTerritoryManagertoprovidegoodcasecoverageandclinicaloutcomesforpatients.

• Serves as primary clinical support and expertise for Structural Heart implanting centers.Provides technical support in accordance with the Instructions for Use and best practices to facilitate procedural consistency and best clinical outcomes.

• Provide and assist in education and training activities with physicians, hospital support staff, and Haemonetics personnel. Stay abreast of and communicate clinical data regarding Haemonetics portfolio of products.

• Provide support on questions regarding device suitability and provide comprehensive technical support including knowledge of imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, hemodynamic waveforms, and ancillary procedural solutions.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. Recognize and understand competitive products, industry trends, and Haemonetics portfolio.

• Oversee local education and training activities including coordination and set up of programs, procedural troubleshooting, and coordination and facilitation of staff education.

• Identify, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, and administrative staff, etc.

• Demonstratestheabilitytolinkclinicaldatatokeymessaging.

• Supportmonitoringofproductinventorylevels.

Qualifications

Education

BA/BS or equivalent: Medical training (RT, RCIS, Surgical tech, RN, NP, or first assistant) - Preferred

Experience

Strong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, vascular or cardiac surgery preferred.

Experience in the cardiac cath lab environment or as a scrub nurse/tech for Structural Heart procedures preferred. - Required

Skills

• Excellentinterpersonalskillsandstrongclinicalorientationwiththeabilitytoinfluenceavarietyof clinician, nurse, and lab tech personality types.

• Extensive experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab environment as a scrub nurse or technologist as the primary scrub for structural heart procedures.

• Analyticalwithfinancialacumen(understandingofhowourproductsperformanceanddataimpacts a health system's bottom line).

• Athoroughknowledgeofthemedicaldevicemarket,products,andterritory'scustomer base.

• Previousindustryexperiencein the Structural Heart space with preference to TAVRcallingonInterventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

• Previous experience with structural heartispreferred.

• Previousexperienceprovidingclinicaleducationandtrainingtostaffmembersis preferred.

• KnowledgeofMSofficesystems.

Physical Demands

• Sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Exposure to blood.

• Ability to stand for long hours wearing cardiac cath lab protective lead.
