Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team in Oklahoma City. As a remote opportunity, this position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. As a Math Instructor / Tutor, you'll play a critical role in delivering individualized instruction to students in a group setting, assessing their learning progress, and communicating with parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities

As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality instruction
• Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicating student progress with parents and guardians
• Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members
• Eagerness to learn and be trained on the Mathnasium Method and teaching methodologies
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• The ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools
• Experience working with students in grades 2-12
