Job Summary

As a Senior Gear Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our team across all disciplines, including artwork, layout, and engineering. You will work closely with our crew to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process. Your primary objectives will be to:

• Collaborate with our team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected answer
• Assist in the development, preservation, and extension of our proprietary engine-specific and custom gear
• Build and guide custom asset pipelines
• Grow our proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in our development process across all disciplines

• Preserve, extend, and aid our present development gear
• Build and guide custom asset pipelines
• Grow our proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures
• Collaborate with our team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected answer
• Assist in the adoption of solutions by the team

Essential Qualifications

* A strong passion for empowering others to achieve their best

• Enjoy working with the overall device lifecycle, including identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness
• Enjoy operating with custom standalone gear
• Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines
• Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript
• Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with custom game engines, including Unreal or Unity

• Familiarity with JavaScript and Net Tech
• Familiarity with required utility materials
• Resume outlining applicable experience
