Job Summary

As a Remote Patient Monitoring Technician with Cortex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient handling of patient data, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high standard of care. You'll work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, responding to incoming alerts, following established workflows, and escalating issues to the clinical team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to incoming alerts from remote patient monitoring systems, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and clinical teams * Follow established workflows to address and resolve alerts, utilizing software efficiently and maintaining accurate patient records * Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and adhering to customer service expectations * Make outbound phone calls to patients on Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), ensuring seamless communication and addressing concerns * Monitor uploads and readings, identifying potential issues and escalating them to the clinical team when necessary * Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

* Strong medical knowledge, preferably with a background in healthcare (e.g., nursing, medical assistant, EMT) * Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with EHR systems and other healthcare software * Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with high-speed internet and a reliable home office setup * Outstanding communication and phone skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clinical teams, and other stakeholders * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience in remote patient monitoring or telehealth * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification * Experience working in a 24/7 environment, with rotating shifts and weekends
