Job Highlights and Responsibilities

As an Administrator - Accountant at Workwarp, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, currently weighted 70% administration and 30% accounting, with opportunities for the accounting portion to grow over time. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and responding to email inquiries with professional and timely communication
  • Handling calendar management and scheduling
  • Supporting various administrative tasks and special projects
  • Tracking deliverables and maintaining project deadlines
  • Assisting with internal and external communication
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Coordinating team activities and supporting operations
  • Managing US company accounting operations using Xero/QuickBooks
  • Collaborating with US-based CPA on tax-related matters
  • Supporting audit processes and maintaining required documentation
  • Assisting with financial forecasting and strategic planning
  • Preparing financial reports and analyses for decision-making
  • Handling bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes
  • Helping develop financial strategies based on data analysis

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Experience handling email correspondence and responding to client inquiries in a professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative to learn, with a tech-focused mindset and a keen interest in developing new skills
  • Willingness to work longer hours when needed, with appropriate compensation
  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
  • Previous experience with audit processes and documentation
  • Understanding of financial forecasting and strategic planning

  • Ability to work some evenings (up to 7pm) when required
