Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with a Growing Solar Energy Leader

As a key member of our remote team, you will play a vital role in connecting with our clients, providing product and service information, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative with Everlight Solar, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling high volumes of incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Identifying and evaluating customer needs to deliver satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Building trust through open and interactive discussions, providing accurate and comprehensive information to customers
  • Managing complaints and providing solutions and options to resolve issues
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and quality
  • Going the extra mile to engage customers and exceed their expectations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Some proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative (preferably in the solar energy industry)
  • Strong phone administration skills and active listening capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work nights and some weekends (rotating shifts available)
  • Availability to work 1pm-11pm CST, 4 days/week with rotating Saturdays or 8am-6pm CST M-F with rotating Saturdays

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in using technology, including CRM software and other tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the solar energy industry
  • Knowledge of Apple ecosystem and software (iOS, macOS, iWork, etc.)
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
