Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Your duties will include transmitting information or documents using a computer, reading and visually verifying information in various formats, and operating standard office equipment. You will also be required to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.
  • Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers, such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems and database management.
  • Certification in data entry or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 to $24.00 per hour, depending on location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
