Job Description
As a Chat Moderator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our official Discord server. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Moderating chat conversations to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and rules
- Deleting messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam
- Banning users who repeatedly break our rules, with the option to temporarily mute or warn them first
- Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations and taking necessary action
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
- Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members
Key Responsibilities:
* Moderate chat conversations to ensure compliance with community guidelines and rules

Essential Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
- Experience in a similar role or community management position
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a customer-facing role or customer service position
- Knowledge of community management best practices and online safety guidelines
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
