Job Description

As a Chat Moderator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our official Discord server. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Moderating chat conversations to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and rules
  • Deleting messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam
  • Banning users who repeatedly break our rules, with the option to temporarily mute or warn them first
  • Investigating reports from users about potential rule violations and taking necessary action
  • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community management strategies
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members

Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate chat conversations to ensure compliance with community guidelines and rules

Essential Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
  • Experience in a similar role or community management position

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a customer-facing role or customer service position

  • Knowledge of community management best practices and online safety guidelines
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
