About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Consultant to join our Heroku team. As a Senior Business Consultant, you'll play a critical role in driving customer success and helping our customers achieve their business goals. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs, develop tailored solutions, and provide expert guidance on our Heroku platform. If you're a skilled communicator with a passion for technology and customer success, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to understand customer needs and priorities
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers on Heroku and Salesforce implementation
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to drive solution success for customers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and trends in cloud computing and application development
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage customer expectations and communications to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Work independently to achieve customer success, with minimal supervision

Essential Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Sales, Technology Consulting, Customer Success, Technology Solutions Development, or Technical and/or Solutions Architecture
  • Experience deploying applications on Heroku
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Aptitude for analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms
  • Knowledge of software development processes and software design methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough familiarity with database, application, and network technologies used in Cloud Computing
  • Consultative selling experience, with a deep understanding of driving discovery cycles to identify customer business and technical requirements
  • Ability to thrive in an agile and dynamic environment, with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions

Compensation and Benefits

We're committed to providing a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects the value and expertise you bring to our organization. The base salary hiring range for this position is $121,030 to $192,360, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our employees enjoy a range of benefits, including:
