Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all order entry functions, including prioritizing incoming orders, verifying matches between received orders and order forms, entering orders with all data and notes, creating computer-generated production tickets, editing orders, and sending them to the next receiver.
  • Provide customers with facility-related information via telephonic conversations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their queries.
  • Work closely with insurance companies to determine patients' benefits for their skilled stay, and process new business referrals promptly in our referral management system.
  • Participate in ongoing communication with our facilities and clinical liaisons regarding referrals, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Perform benefit verifications accurately using different insurance portals, and supply accurate information to the best of your knowledge per the data entry expectation list.
  • Display a sense of urgency when processing referrals, and be held accountable for results, ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
