Position Overview:

• Position: Security Guard, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring surveillance systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems to prevent and detect security breaches
• Conducting regular patrol rounds of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Maintaining a visible presence to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers
• Responding promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies, and taking appropriate action to resolve the situation
• Investigating incidents and documenting findings to identify areas for improvement
• Enforcing company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk
• Creating incident reports and submitting them to the appropriate personnel for review and follow-up
• Providing excellent customer service while enforcing security measures to ensure a positive experience for our customers
• Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies as needed to ensure a safe and secure environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in security or law enforcement is a plus
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role preferred, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures
• Strong observation and surveillance skills, with the ability to detect and respond to security breaches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and law enforcement agencies
• Ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations, with a strong focus on safety and security
• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures, with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV surveillance systems is a plus, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time, with a strong focus on safety and security
• A valid driver's license is a plus, with the ability to travel to different locations as needed
