Job Description

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll provide real-time support to customers, ensuring they receive their packages on time and resolving any issues that may arise. This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with flexibility to work extra hours as needed to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing tough customer situations with empathy and professionalism via phone and email
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and prioritizing their needs
  • Soliciting customer feedback to improve customer experience and identify areas for improvement
  • Reading and analyzing data to supplement information and provide accurate solutions
  • Using problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
  • Collecting and analyzing data to develop alternative solutions and improve processes
  • Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Maintaining confidentiality and following company policies and procedures
  • Balancing team and individual responsibilities, demonstrating objectivity and openness to others' views
  • Contributing to building a positive team environment and achieving team goals

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service (industry experience not required)
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively to ensure performance and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers, database searching, and instant messenger tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with performance metrics and developing strategies to measure progress against key performance indicators

Physical Demands

As a remote customer service representative, you will be required to:

  • Sit, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 49 pounds
  • Operate in a warehouse production environment with varying noise levels and temperatures (personal protective equipment provided)
