React Native Engineer

We are looking for a React Native Engineer with strong communication skills in English and a proactive mindset to join our mobile team and help us build the next generation of the Autohero mobile app.

You’ll work on a modern, well-maintained codebase, influence technical decisions, and shape the user experience for thousands of customers across Europe.

• Design, develop, and maintain features in our React Native app for iOS and Android
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver user value
• Own core parts of the app architecture, ensuring long-term performance and maintainability
• Improve app speed, reliability, and UX through best practices and performance tuning
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor fellow engineers
• Drive technical decisions and help improve team workflows and mobile engineering culture

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• 3+ years of production experience with React Native
• Solid understanding of mobile development best practices: navigation, animations, performance
• Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand) and server state handling with React Query
• Familiarity with debugging tools, testing (unit/integration), and mobile release processes
• Bonus: experience with native modules, CI/CD, and app store deployment
