About the Role of SEO Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a key role in our content process, including topic selection, writing content briefs, and contributing to our SEO Maintenance service. You will work closely with our Head of Strategy and SEO, SEO Strategists, and Content team to ensure that we deliver amazing, SEO-driven content marketing that gets results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Topic selection and outline writing (40% of the role)
• SEO Maintenance (writing/editing) to existing content (40% of the role)
• SEO monitoring, reporting, and process improvement (20% of the role)
• Using our proprietary FALCON AI to find excellent, relevant topics that can convert and help clients rank for when we produce content pieces
• Working with our Content team to produce extremely detailed content briefs for these topics
• Driving our SEO Maintenance process, deeply analyzing underperforming client content using our FALCON AI to guide and inform decisions on what needs to be changed and/or updated
• Implementing changes directly into clients' sites and monitoring for results, reporting on progress and tweaking when and if necessary

Requirements for the Role

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a mix of hard and soft skills. The hard skills required include:

• 2-4+ years of SEO, Content, and/or digital marketing experience
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data in spreadsheets
• Meticulous attention to detail
• SEO and Content expertise with a desire to learn more
• Significant overlap with GMT/CET (UK/EU) timezones
• Excellent project and task management
• WordPress familiarity (advanced usage desirable but not essential)

In terms of soft skills, we are looking for individuals who have:

• Fantastic communication skills: Remote work relies on mutual trust, so frequent and clear written communication is essential
• Receptive to feedback and solutions-oriented: We share and learn from each other honestly, openly, and easily
• High level of self-awareness: a “people person”: You’ll be dealing with the rest of the Strategy team and clients on a daily basis, so communicating effectively is crucial
• Proven organizational skills: You must be obsessive with deadlines, managing and updating tasks, and totally reliable
• Self-driven work ethic: You need to be self-motivated, comfortable taking the initiative, and see projects through to completion
