Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Match Recommendation Platform team plays a critical role in matching job seekers with employers. We own Indeed's platform for delivering candidate recommendations to employers, serving millions of requests per day to power many products across Indeed. As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and building large-scale, performant, and robust systems that deliver great matches to employers
• Architecting new solutions and validating them through A/B testing
• Participating in code reviews and design reviews in the team to maintain high standards
• Supporting your own applications during business hours
• Making data-driven decisions, utilizing our analytics systems
• Collaborating daily with colleagues from many job functions: software engineers, product managers, data scientists, product scientists, and UX designers
• Working on projects that involve members in and out of your own team
• Mentoring other engineers

Requirements and Qualifications

We're excited about candidates who have:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience programming in Java, Kotlin, or a similar programming language
• Experience working on large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
