Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

As a Business Dealer Chat Agent, you'll be responsible for representing dealerships across the national and global market via webchat, email, and various digital communication mediums. Your primary goal will be to convert in-market vehicle sales and services customers into dealership leads, while meeting department KPIs and goals. To achieve this, you'll need to be an expert in the product line, promotions, and dealership operations, and be able to provide consultative assistance to customers with their vehicle purchase process. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing dealerships across the national and global market via webchat, email, and various digital communication mediums
  • Converting in-market vehicle sales and services customers to dealership leads, while meeting department KPIs and goals
  • Serving as an expert in the product line, promotions, and dealership operations
  • Utilizing web chat software to provide consultative assistance to customers with their vehicle purchase process
  • Continuously aiming to improve customer satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency by making recommendations that benefit the customer and make their buying experience better
  • Being a goodwill ambassador for the company by courteous treatment of all customers
  • Providing exceptional service to all internal and external customers
  • Promoting sales and lead captures for the client by accurately and enthusiastically responding to consumer questions about products, features, benefits, incentives, and promotions
  • Effectively building rapport with customers, dealers, and all team members
  • Participating in any required training to maintain the technical knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job above the standard required
  • Effectively and accurately documenting customer interaction
  • Efficiently managing concurrent activities

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills and qualifications. Here are some of the key requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-related profession
  • Journalism/Creative Writing experience preferred
  • Computer navigation and typing proficiency
  • Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills
  • A positive self-starter with a strong work ethic, an ability to meet/exceed deadlines, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree required

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
