Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across AIML, including Foundation Models, Infra, NLP, Invocation, and Speech Recognition to develop innovative solutions that align with business goals.
- Lead the design and architecture of core Siri systems, engineering tools, and user interactions with an emphasis on scalability and international adaptability.
- Create and execute ambitious engineering plans to enhance Siri's reach and effectiveness in global markets.
- Work on advanced engineering challenges, including Speech Synthesis/Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and Big Data.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.S in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally working on an end-user product.
- Working capability with programming languages, such as Swift, C++, Objective C, Java, etc.
- Solid fundamentals in OO design, patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with machine learning and data science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven strong product mindset, with a focus on building the best experience for the end-user.
- Proven track record of architecting performant scalable software, ideally both on-device and server-side.
- Demonstrated ownership of large cross-functional and multi-team projects.
- Proven technical leadership, education, and team mentorship.
