This role will oversee and manage complex tax research projects across a wide range of clients and industries. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in partnership taxation, multistate compliance, and SALT planning strategies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service and ensure technical accuracy. You have (requirements):

A minimum of 4 years' experience in public accounting with an emphasis in Flowthrough Tax and SALT.

BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Licensed CPA required.

The ability to oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.

Able to manage multiple complex projects and deliver in a timely manner.

Ability or interest in generating and building business, ability to delegate work and manage staff.

Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience mentoring and training more junior level team members.

You will (job responsibilities):

Maintain and develop client relationships as primary client contact on all tax compliance and consulting matters.

Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of Flowthrough and SALT clients in a variety of industries.

Work with clients to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liability.

Deliver and develop innovative financial planning ideas that meet or exceed client expectations.

Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.

Develop recommendations and implement plans for clients and team members.

Develop and motivate tax associates by reviewing their work and providing them with counseling, leadership and career guidance.
