Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Math Instructor/Tutor to work with 2nd-12th grade students in our Cedar Hill, TX center. As a Math Instructor/Tutor, you'll have the opportunity to work with students in a variety of settings, including in-center, online, and hybrid delivery. You'll be responsible for teaching math concepts using our proprietary Mathnasium Method®, assessing student progress, and creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor students in 2nd-12th grade using the Mathnasium Method®, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in math education

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained in our proprietary Mathnasium Method®
• Exceptional math competency, demonstrated through a math literacy test
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Work authorization and ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Previous experience working with students in a math education setting
• Strong understanding of math concepts and curriculum
• Experience with digital educational materials and processes
• Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends

Compensation and Benefits
