About the Role

The Data Analytics Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, contracting, and business stakeholders, to analyze data, identify insights, and develop data-driven recommendations. This role will aid in the development and implementation of innovative data visualization techniques, analytical methodologies, and supporting tools to evaluate business processes and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of innovative data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively to various audience levels.
• Collaborate with finance and contracting teams to identify and isolate variances resulting from over/under payment practices and incorporate these into actual-to-expected results.
• Develop and maintain automated processes to identify data and process integrity issues, providing senior management with detailed recommendations for issue resolution.
• Design and deliver standard and ad-hoc management reports and presentations for projects, utilizing query-based tools to create and run queries for data mining and analysis.
• Provide exceptional client service to internal and external clients, ensuring quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
• Work cross-functionally with peers in Sales, Finance, Legal, Contract Development, and Contract Operations to drive business outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop processes and project plans that meet departmental objectives within budget and established timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:

• A graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with advanced coding languages, such as SAS, SQL, or C++.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Business Objects, Cognos, or Tableau.
• Experience with project management, including planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve project objectives.
• Knowledge of the pharmacy industry, including pharmacy benefit management, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization.
