About blithequark and the Client Support Agent Role

As a Client Support Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our members receive the support they need to navigate our plans, benefits, and services. This is a full-time, 8-hour position, with a competitive hourly rate of $35.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, providers, and internal stakeholders via phone, web, or written correspondence.
  • Develop a deep understanding of blithequark's plans, benefits, and policies to effectively guide members through their healthcare journey.
  • Respond to complex inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate critical issues to relevant staff, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to members.
  • Document and track interactions with members, providers, and internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with members by actively listening to their needs, empathizing with their concerns, and providing personalized support.
  • Stay up-to-date on blithequark's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to inform and educate members.
  • Anticipate member needs, proactively offering relevant information and resources to enhance their experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Four-year certification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, such as a call center or retail setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when interacting with members.
  • Experience working in a production environment, with a focus on meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Availability to work a fixed second or third shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using technology to manage workflows, track interactions, and access relevant information.
