As a Publishing Specialist, your primary role is to take guided content from idea to published product using templates and automation. Day-to-Day Workflow You’ll manage each book from start to finish through a clear, five-stage system: 1. Rather than inventing ideas, you’ll work from filters that highlight categories already popular with readers but underserved by publishers. 2. Create Book Content Using AI Tools Next, you’ll generate the book’s content using AI platforms such as ChatGPT. You’ll input curated prompts, structure responses using nonfiction templates, and produce a concise manuscript between 3,000 and 7,000 words. No creative writing or editing experience is needed—just the ability to follow clear formatting and editing instructions. 3. Format the Manuscript With the draft complete, you’ll format your manuscript for Kindle using included layout guidelines. You’ll structure chapters, apply spacing and headers, and insert legally required content. The formatting tools are beginner-friendly and already tailored for Kindle readers. 4. Finalize Metadata and Listing You’ll write your title, subtitle, and description using prebuilt headline templates and keyword strategies. Then, you’ll choose categories and backend metadata to increase visibility. Everything follows a proven formula designed to improve search performance inside Amazon. 5. Upload and Publish You’ll upload your formatted manuscript and cover design through Kindle Direct Publishing.
