Job Summary

As a Day Shift Lumper, you'll play a critical role in supporting the efficient flow of product through our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving, observing all safety regulations, and ensuring all quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities

* Move product from trailer to appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner

  • Sort and segregate pallets / product, as necessary
  • Check product for damages and alert receivers, if necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless warehouse operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols
  • Previous experience with pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
