About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Delta Airlines. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure that applications meet business requirements and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure that applications are stable, secure, and performant.
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in production.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams, to ensure that applications meet business requirements and customer needs.

Essential Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications.
• Formal education in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies, including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Experience with source control and version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, with the ability to design and develop secure applications.
