We are seeking an experienced Hawaiian Transcriber to join our team on a project basis, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a Hawaiian Transcriber, you will play a vital role in our data services team, contributing to the success of our clients by providing high-quality transcription services.

Job Summary

As a Hawaiian Transcriber, you will be responsible for transcribing audio files in our online database, using your expertise in the Hawaiian language to ensure accurate and high-quality transcription. You will work on a project basis, with tasks assigned to you based on project needs. Your workload will vary in size, and you will be paid per minute of audio transcribed. You will be required to follow project guidelines, meet project deadlines, and communicate effectively with project managers via email.

Responsibilities

* Transcribe all assigned audio files accurately and efficiently * Follow project guidelines and meet project deadlines * Make consistent progress on assigned audio files * Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner via email * Possess a strong command of English and excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills in Hawaiian

Skills and Qualifications

* Native-level (C2) proficiency in Hawaiian, including the ability to read and write * Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills in Hawaiian * High-speed internet access and access to email * Ability to meet deadlines and work independently * Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via email * Proficiency in typing and computer/internet skills * Web search skills and ability to research as needed

Requirements

* Native-level (C2) proficiency in Hawaiian, including the ability to read and write * Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills in Hawaiian * Have an Upwork profile, or be willing to create an Upwork profile * High-speed internet access and access to email * Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
