Introduction Trip.com Group is looking for a Senior Market Manager with a proven record in team management within a sales or account management environment. As a Senior Market Manager, you are responsible for leading a team that overseas the account management of our hotel partnerships. You will support the attainment of KPI related goals by developing and nurturing strong partner relationships within your assigned territory. In this Role, you’ll get to

  • Lead a team of Account Managers in your assigned region.
  • Master and champion, the execution of business strategies to exceed key targets, goals, and objectives set.
  • Effectively handle working relationships, team productivity and morale.
  • Endlessly train, coach and develop your direct reports to improve effectiveness and team productivity, building the skills and abilities of your team.
  • Develop and implement effective and sustainable solutions to improve operational efficiencies for the wider organisation.
  • Effectively collaborate with other internal departments to drive transformation.
  • Directly manage a small number of key accounts within your assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners by providing data insights and implementing strategies to increase their market share and revenue opportunities.
  • Represent Trip.com Group within the local market, building the company’s profile with key stakeholders, and providing an exceptional level of market knowledge to the industry.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What you’ll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to bring the following:

A Seasoned Leader

  • 5+ years’ experience in team leadership within a sales or account management environment. Preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or e-commerce industry.
  • Ability to motivate, coach and mentor a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proven ability to coach team members in behaviours that improve personal effectiveness.
  • Authentic relationship builder with a sound ability to earn the trust of others.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage team performance and mobilise resources to achieve and exceed goals.

A Self-Starter

  • Proven ability to have an effect on both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A results-focused individual willing to act and empower their team to achieve goals set.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and be focused on achieving critical targets and deadlines with accuracy.

An Excellent Communicator

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal. With proven ability to effectively present & articulate ideas clearly and the ability to suitably influence others.
  • Ability to influence the direction of decisions, even when holding a contrary position.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate at various levels via a variety of communication methods.

A Critical Thinker

  • Ability to clearly display vital-thinking skills, including general problem-solving skills and intense curiosity to identify trends and implement action accordingly.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • The ability to travel, up to 20% of your time is required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • This role will be based in Budapest.
