About the Role

We are looking for team members who are not only team-oriented but also highly motivated, with the ability to work independently to solve unique problems. Due to the rapid growth of our company, we need people who are flexible, adventurous, and willing to learn new skills. A little creativity goes a long way, and we encourage our team members to think outside of their "everyday" job duties to come up with new ideas for the good of the whole company. As a Customer Care Agent, you will be working with our customers over the phone, on live chat, and through email, with the opportunity to create raving fans for blithequark every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers via phone, live chat, and email
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work independently to solve unique problems and think outside of the box to come up with creative solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and sales targets

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of the lighting industry or online retail
  • Experience with live chat or phone support software
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
  • Previous experience working in a team-oriented environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Starting wage of $16.00/hr
  • $1/hour increase after 60-day provisional period
