Data Analyst II
Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a(Remote) Data Analyst II to join their team. As a Data Analyst II, you will be part of the Analytics Department supporting global tax teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job?
- Support effective decision-making through economic, financial, and market analysis of critical issues, including capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and returns on investment.
- Assist in capacity forecasting, budgeting, and reporting efforts for operating expenses, capital, and resource allocation.
- Design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the organization's rapidly changing business environment.
- Utilize Python-based modeling to enhance existing data processes and models.
- Combine multiple data sources to produce actionable insights and support customer issue resolution related to Excel-based models.
What's Needed?
- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst, with a focus on financial or capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Python modeling and expert level Excel, with knowledge of SQL being a strong plus.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree such as an MBA is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and manage financial models for forecasting and problem-solving.
- Tax or financial background preferred
- Typescript and Tableau skills preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
