Job Summary

As an Enterprise Customer Engineer, you'll be responsible for identifying and assessing large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure. You'll work closely with our clients to help them leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to apply accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance. Alongside this, you'll collaborate with internal Cloud AI teams to overcome obstacles and shape the future of our services.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and assess large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure

• Help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by:

+ Running benchmarks for current models + Finding opportunities to apply accelerators for new models + Developing migration paths + Assisting with research fees to optimize performance

• Work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to:

+ Overcome obstacles + Shape the future of our services

• Collaborate with clients to recommend migration paths, integration techniques, and application architectures that incorporate Google Cloud AI-optimized infrastructure
• Reveal how blithequark is differentiated, highlighting the strength of accelerators by:

+ Working with clients on proof-of-concepts + Demonstrating functions + Optimizing model performance + Profiling and benchmarking

• Construct repeatable assets to enable other clients and internal teams
• Influence blithequark's approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for client requirements
• Tour to client sites and events as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure
• Experience in building and operationalizing machine learning models
• Experience in delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions aligned with the client's defined scope and success criteria

Desired Qualifications

* Experience in education and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators

• Experience in running MLPerf benchmarks
• Experience in performance profiling tools (e.g., TensorFlow profiler, PyTorch profiler, TensorBoard)
• Experience in distributed training and optimizing performance versus cost
• Experience in designing and architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
• Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125-$150 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
