As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in supporting our members and providers by providing timely, accurate, and compassionate assistance over the phone. You'll be the face of our organization, helping to build trust and loyalty with our customers while ensuring their needs are met with empathy and understanding.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating complex cases to senior representatives when necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records, documenting interactions, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, share knowledge, and improve processes.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work from home, with high-speed internet connectivity and a secure, reliable connection
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome candidates with:

  • Experience working remotely in a call center setting
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare programs
  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
