About the Role

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of experienced professionals to support the creation and assessment of data models, data management information strategy, and project-level information engineering artifacts. You will collaborate with business, IT, and other architects to ensure that data management concerns are addressed in the arrangement, including data acquisition, data organization, data management, data quality, data distribution, data storage, and retention, data security, data integration, reference and master data management, analytics, and metadata management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that overall data management concerns are addressed in the arrangement, including data acquisition, data organization, data management, data quality, data distribution, data storage, and retention, data security, data integration, reference and master data management, analytics, and metadata management.
• Align data and information models to enterprise, arrangement, and technical architectures at the portfolio and arrangement train levels.
• Lead the identification of reusable data services to accelerate the delivery of significant value and eliminate data replication.
• Collaborate with design DBAs and arrangement engineers to provide guidance on proper designs and changes to implemented data structures.
• Provide applied and detailed design of data structures for data at rest (databases) and data in motion (API interfaces, messages).
• Establish and accurately document data lineage in the context of arrangement architecture, data analysis, and blithequark's three-level architecture (External Edge, Inner Edge, Strong Core).
• Collaborate with data analysis organizations (EDA and DataWorks) and business areas to leverage data lakes to gain insights into operational efficiencies.
• Define architectural patterns and stage guidelines to ingest and operationalize data scientific capabilities.
• Collaborate with physical design database administrators to implement and enforce stage guidelines.
• Support the affected application engineers and coordinated release trains during implementation.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in data management principles, data modeling, and data analysis. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with data modeling tools, such as Sparx or ER/Studio.
• Knowledge of data virtualization, analytics, and integration strategies.
• Experience with business and enterprise architecture frameworks, such as BIZBOK or TOGAF.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and data services.
• Familiarity with data lakes, shared aspects, and logical designs.
