Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering alphanumeric data from raw sources into our database, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Comparing data with source documents, re-entering data in verification format to detect errors, and compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before entry
- Utilizing Excel for data remediation, identifying and correcting errors, and reporting them to supervisors as needed
- Maintaining logs of activities and completed work, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Reading source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data into specific fields
- Working in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets, and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Possessing strong 10-key skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
- Demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in data entry, data collection, or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel and data remediation
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
