The Remote Data Entry Operator will play a crucial role in supporting our Customer Service Division by entering information with a high degree of speed and accuracy into our customer information system and other Public Works software. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain utility accounts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Verify account eligibility and accessibility to ensure compliance with our standards.
  • Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Scan or retain documents as per our data management policies, ensuring all records are secure and easily accessible.
  • Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify areas for improvement.
  • Enter data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases to support our operational analysis and strategic planning.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating your versatility and commitment to team goals.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for the Remote Data Entry Operator position at blithequark, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED), and two (2) years of experience as a high volume data entry operator or typist.
  • Licenses or Certifications: None specified, but the ability to obtain any necessary certifications for data entry or related fields is a plus.
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with customer information systems are highly desirable.
