Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving inbound calls and placing outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on quotes, ensure customer satisfaction, and schedule maintenance
- Identifying the reason for the customer's call, qualifying the customer, collecting relevant information, and scheduling service work appointments
- Referencing premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics and using best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
- Upselling products and services when appropriate and documenting all customer interactions
- Assigning and dispatching technicians to customers' locations and communicating with customers via email
- Participating in rotating on-call duties and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Call Center Representative or in a similar role (preferably in the service industry)
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Understanding of active listening techniques and the ability to empathize with customers
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs (Service Titan experience a plus, but we will provide training)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
