About the Role

We're looking for a talented Clinical Data Analyst with a strong background in programming HEDIS measures, HL7 CQL, and FHIR data systems. As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and integrating healthcare data to drive business insights and improve patient outcomes. • FHIR Data Analysis: Analyze and integrate healthcare data using FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data systems, with a focus on developing and implementing FHIR-based solutions.
• HEDIS Measure Development: Develop and implement HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) measures using CQL (Clinical Quality Language) to evaluate the performance of health plans and medical providers.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including EHR systems, claims data, and other healthcare data sources, to drive business insights and improve patient outcomes.
• Data Quality and Validation: Ensure data quality and validation, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data mapping.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop reports and visualizations to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and patients.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare providers, payers, and technology vendors, to design and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements: Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare clinical data analysis and data systems integrations.
• FHIR and HEDIS Expertise: Working knowledge of FHIR implementations and HEDIS CQL measure scripting to evaluate the performance of health plans and medical providers.
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies or AWS.
• HL7 and Health Data Exchange: Good understanding of HL7 (Health Level Seven Standard) or any other Health Data exchange, including HL7, FHIR, CQL, HL7 CDA, and Web Services.
• Database Systems: Good understanding of database systems and SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Preferred Qualifications:

• EHR Systems: Knowledge of EHR systems like Athena Healthnet, Acumen, and EPIC.
• Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Data Modelling and ETL: Familiarity with data modelling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration techniques.
• Agile Development: Familiarity with agile development methodologies, software design patterns, and best practices.

Skills and Competencies:

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, planning, organizational, time management, and facilitation skills.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• SDLC and Documentation: Strong understanding and experience of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and documentation skills.
• Microsoft Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook), Microsoft SQL Studio, JIRA.
