Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative – Call Center Operations, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, handling high-volume calls, and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, accurate data entry, and efficient problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's remedy information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate missing medication data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Resolve external exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual account requirements.
  • Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain approval, or otherwise resolve external exceptions.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and recognize and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
  • Obtain active professional licensure or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.

Essential Capabilities

* Essential level computer skills, including: + Starting and shutting down the computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online

  • Essential web browser skills, including:

+ Opening a program + Writing in URLs in the correct field + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a website + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing forms online

  • Moderate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM), including typing by memory and organizing documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Preferred Capabilities

* Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction

  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM), including typing by memory and designing documents
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English
