Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and troubleshooting needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs.
- Providing exceptional customer service over the phone in a virtual or 'brick and mortar' call center environment.
- Taking ownership of customer issues in order to provide confident resolution.
- Maintaining a quiet, uninterrupted workspace and an organized desk area.
- Meeting technology requirements, including a personal computer, broadband internet connection, Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, valid antivirus software, and a wired USB headset with microphone.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
- Bookkeeping/accounting expertise to include AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, etc.
- Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment.
- Strong ownership of customer issues in order to take control of the situation and provide confident resolution.
- Tech savvy and avid computer user.
- Ability to communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor.
- Quiet, uninterrupted space
- Organized desk area
- Personal computer (no tablet)
- Broadband internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed
- Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
