Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team and help us develop and maintain robust data pipelines, cloud applications, and ETL processes for our flagship platform. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support marketing on arenaflex.com and its subsidiaries
- Work on cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis
- Develop and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with other scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects
- Participate in on-call rotations to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven expertise in data engineering concepts, data modeling, ETL processes, and data mining
- Experience working with data technologies like SQL, Python, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Apache NiFi
- Experience with social databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra)
- Experience with real-time message processing using Apache Kafka
- Experience in designing and implementing data models for efficient storage and retrieval
- A growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes an plus
- Experience with distributed computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, as well as distributed storage frameworks like Hive and HBase an plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
