  • You'll have oversight of the design process and development for data center electrical controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc and electrical equipment including switchgear and distribution.
  • You'll provide input on electrical controls systems designs during project planning and contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
  • You'll collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all electrical work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • You'll provide oversight of the installation and commissioning of electrical controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc and electrical equipment including switchgear and distribution and other critical electrical equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • You'll conduct regular schedule and progress reviews, providing updates and insights to client teams and stakeholders.
  • You'll provide oversight of the diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical system issues during the start up and commissioning process.
  • You'll communicate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and smooth project execution and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in electrical systems throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • You'll have oversight of the preparation and maintenance of accurate QA/QC/Cx documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists.
  • You'll have oversight of the provision of detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion.
  • You'll ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, AISC, etc. ).
  • You'll stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to electrical systems and share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.

The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred, or additional four (4) years of related experience
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical
  • 3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Comprehensive understanding of controls systems, SCADA, EPMS, etc.

and electrical equipment including switchgear and distribution

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and vendors
  • Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals inside of a dynamic team environment while also being capable of taking initiative when necessary
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, IEC, NEC, NFPA related to electrical systems
  • Experience with system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and energy efficiency optimization
  • Experience with or coordination of electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software

$120,000 - $165,000 a year Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
