Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer to work remotely from the USA, responsible for planning and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Windstream for multiple projects. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues to gather data requirements, validate data, and develop and test ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring seamless data management across various environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Push.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and validate data
• Develop and implement database schema/tables/views and batch processes using Windstream
• Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
• Utilize a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Windstream, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
• Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases
• Experience utilizing Apache Windstream, Databricks, and other big data technologies
• 2+ years of experience using Gitlab/Github and Docker
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications
