[Remote] Analytics Associate I

The Analytics Associate I role involves technical analysis, data management, and communication to support data-driven decisions across various client sectors.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data to provide strategic program insight
- Drive innovation across sectors and collaborate closely with both client and technical teams
- Work with analysts and data scientists to inform data-driven decisions and strategy
- Prepare reports and calculators to support solutions and summarize findings for clients
Skills
- You have a bachelor's degree in a related field with some statistical background or 1+ year of experience analyzing data and coming up with solutions
- You are passionate about harnessing data-driven solutions to improve social outcomes
- You're eager to learn the fundamental techniques in data management, analysis, and visualization
- You can recognize patterns and are careful to check assumptions—whether they are your own or someone else's
- You have excellent attention to detail
- Experience or interest in learning a programming language (Python, Java, Ruby, SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity in statistical programs (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.)
- Spreadsheet and presentation software (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Keynote)
- Data visualization and business intelligence tools (GIS, Tableau, Periscope etc.)
