Associate Financial Advisor
Thrivent is a diversified financial services organization that focuses on providing expert financial advice with heart. They are seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to support clients and financial advisors at Lakeview Financial Group by building relationships, educating clients on financial decisions, and developing a personal network for growth.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals
- Educating and empowering clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement and generosity
- Building a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches and businesses for future growth
- Developing skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor
Skills
- Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration. If not currently licensed, candidates should be willing to do so within 120 days of hire/contract
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable
- Self-disciplined, independent and driven to succeed
- Motivated by helping others and seeing them achieve their goals
- A natural coach or guide with strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about living a life of generosity by serving others, not just selling products
